Where should I stay in New York?

We stayed in the Radio City Apartments ( a href="http://www.radiocityapts.com/" rel="nofollow"http://www.radiocityapts.com//a ) which are just off Times Square. It's a converted hotel and you get a small kitchenette in each. We took our 2 kids and had 2 bedrooms and a small living room. It was the perfect position. Only drawback was that I spent most of the time watching wife and daughters shop.
