How to get over your ex love?

I got married and was happily ever after, until I saw my ex. I started feeling something weird in my heart. I realized how much I missed him and how much he means to me. I always loved him but he never offered me anything. I don't think I got over him. He asked me not to marry my husband... after 6 month I got up one nught from the weird dream. I had him in my dream. Don't get me wring I love my husband but I never got over the other guy. It is like some kinda sikness.And I understand that he is wrong for me, that I got what every person could dream(lovely husband, house , cars,,, everything) but I am still not over the other guy! How to forget him how to throw him out of my heart? How to live with that? I saw him and when he turned around and left... I understood how much he means to me and how much I always wanted to be with him... but it's too late now. What to do?
