You'll likely have an internal pelvic exam. It doesn't hurt, but you might feel a little awkward. It doesn't last long, but is needed to check for any abnormalities. They will also draw your blood to check your hormone levels. That's likely your problem. Your hormones are out of whack. They might put you on the pill to regulate them. All in all it's painless (minus a quick needle poke) and no big deal.
