Track and field questions.?

i run a mile for workout several times a week. should i run a mile 25hours before competing for 400m. like tomorow i wake up at six am and run a mile. stretch before and after. then stretch and warmup 2 times again later in the day to get my musscles warmed up. and then the next day run my race at around 8 am. so should i run a mile 26 hours before ccompeting and stretch several time before with 15 hours. or is it bad
