TO stay or to go, tell me?

i love my boyfriend, ive really developed to him, but i feell that he is hiding our relationship, ive been with him for 16months now, but i cant feel the connection whether we are meant to be or how serious he is on planning to settle, at the moment he is supporting his family back home cos they live in poverty and he is the breadwinner. but through this relationship I feel im the one who is fall deeply inlove, he asked me to pay his airfare $2000 (i did), wanted spending money of $2000 to borrow, ( i let him) he comes only at night to visit on weekends, now i dont know what to say or tell him. What sorta questions should I ask. I'm 23yo
