American perception of history?

I am American, and not proud. I am interested more in world history, since American history is pretty brief. 300 years isn't interesting beyond quotes and artifacts, but I am OBSESSED with anicent Rome. What the Founding Fathers intended America to be was popular sovereignty, and "out of foreign affairs", but America today is way too reliant on China (debt debtand is being d out of quality by Mexicans!!! America is falling down the toilt, but I hop Italy and my favorite European countries stay awsome like always.
