When adjusting the fader on a head unit will it effect how the subwoofers sound??

I have a JVC Stereo in my car, hooked up to 2 amps that each have its own 12" hooked up to it. When I fade the head unit front or back it doesn't affect the subs at all. The subs have their own volume controls on my head unit.. So it just depends on your head unit's capability to do that. Check your owner's manual to your head unit and it might have something that you can set up to where it wont have an affect. Thats how I set mine up in the first place.
